JNV Counter Terror - Build Hope

This is a transatlantic effort to challenge the US-UK 'war on terror'. There is going to be a major transatlantic military-police 'counter-terrorism' exercise in mid-2005. We want to organise a transatlantic peace-development-anti-globalization-disarmament movement 'counter-terrorism' protest in Spring 2005 instead. Countering terrorism by challenging the US-UK drive to war and WMD escalation, and by demanding real action to address the roots of terrorism.

JNV is appealing for money to help pay for the British preparations for this month of action.


Every dollar/pound you give will be used to create anti-war materials and to distribute them far and wide to create the strongest possible grassroots protest against war, nuclear escalation and corporate globalization in the run-up to the British General Election (May 2005) and the G8 conference in Scotland (July 2005).
