F2C: Attending the Freedom to Connect Conference

I'm seeking to attend the Freedom-to-Connect conference in DC. I need assistance with RT travel Chicago-DC. If someone is willing to donate miles instead, that would be great. Additional $ is for registration. I have friends in DC and will be able to stay with them.

Why would my attending be important and why am I seeking assistance?

I am presently working (non-stop and pro bono) for several community networking and community technology organizations on ICT policy issues. I am dealing with issues that involve local, state and federal policy. The organizations I am serving don't have the resources to send me, and don't have paid staff either... so I thought I would put this out there.
