"Firefly" fundraiser
We will be screening four "Firefly" episodes (Serenity, parts 1 and 2; Jaynestown; and Objects in Space) at Northwest Film Center's Guild Theatre in Portland to raise money for MercyCorps' Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. We need money upfront for the licensing rights to the episodes and for the theatre rental. After that, all proceeds taken at the door (minus $1 a seat that will go to NW Film Center) will go to MercyCorps.
