My cat is about ten months old. Last week she feel three floors to the ground and got hurt. The animal hospital said that it would cost $500-800 to make her well. Unfortunately their communication, scheduling, and estimation were off the mark this week. I can pick her up when I pay them about $4,500. If you are an animal lover or just feel compelled to soften the blow a little, and you have a couple bucks to spare, I (and Gertie) will be incredibly grateful.
Any amount exceeding her bill will be donated to the MSPCA (she is being treated at an MSPCA animal hospital).

So after talking to them the final cost ended up at more than $3,000, but less than what they said on the phone. I can't edit this page, though. Thanks to everyone so far!
update #2: i picked her up. she's a champ.
I wish I could help more, but I'm completely broke. She looks so much like my kitty, that I had to give something, though. Give her lots of cuddles for me :)

Can't help with a monetary donation, but I can suggest that you keep your cat indoors. Cats are "DOMESTICATED" animals and contrary to popular belief, do not "need" to go outside. They are safer from disease, accidents and just plain vicious people if kept indoors. Good luck with your kitty

I've just sent you $25. I know how much cats can cost - some time ago my girl Pip had a collapsed lung & it was touch & go for a while. Had to forgo my new car as the funds were taken up with vets bills. Best of luck - I'll check back next month to see how the fund's going.
