Boulder wants a baby, part 5
Our homecoming with Charlie was emotional — not only were we home at last with a baby, our baby, despite staggering odds, but our friends inside the computer had given him a welcome that brought me to tears. That online shower, the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me, was masterminded by Boulder.
Boulder, like so many of us, is trying, after a devastating series of losses, "to have a damn baby." I want to help.
To that end, I've made a quilt. This is a quilt I began while I was still pregnant with Charlie. It represents hours and hours and hours of work and thought, as each patch has been individually chosen for color and value. The finished quilt has over 1,000 pieces in it. It is, I tell people, the quilt of my soul. I couldn't let it go for a lesser cause.
The quilt is approximately 72" square, composed entirely of high-quality cotton fabrics and batting, machine-pieced and quilted. Because of its dimensions, it's probably more suitable for use as a wall-hanging than a covering, but it will be fully machine washable, so you can use it as you see fit.

I've been lurking for a while, following your story (and from there Tertia's) and now Boulder's. Good luck to her. I've put in my two chances (albeit using my husband's paypal account.) Good luck to everyone!
