Emily Lynne 2: The Quiltening
Rebekah's sister is currently in the hospital on bedrest for preterm labor. "Hers is a complicated story," says Rebekah, and indeed it is. You can read it here:

Many of you have generously offered to send money, gifts, and gently used gear for the baby, Emily Lynne. I would also like to contribute. To that end, I'm making a quilt to be given away in a random drawing, $5 per chance, with the proceeds to go to Emily's mother for the purchase of baby supplies.
The quilt will be approximately 42" square, appropriately sized for either a baby quilt, a wall hanging, or a throw. Its design is simple and gender-neutral — cheerful colors suitable for a child or for an adult who likes bright colors. You can view some samples of my work...

...though please understand that due to time constraints this quilt will be simpler in design than most of the ones in my gallery. It will be made of 100% cotton, machine pieced and quilted, sturdy enough for machine washing and drying.
One winner will be drawn at random once the quilt is completed; I'll post a photo on my site once it's finished. I estimate that it will be finished by the end of September, and will be happy to keep you up to date on its progress.
If you'd like to enter the drawing, please contribute in $5 increments. My monetary goal is $500. Thank you for any help you can give, and good luck!
