Brazil or Bust!
Help Eva, our favorite 16 year old, reach her goal of becoming a foreign exchange student to Brazil. The Rotary and host family will cover her expenses once she gets there but we gotta get her there first. She has met all of their requirements and everything is in place for her departure.

My sons babysitter is 16 years old and for years she's wanted to be a foreign exchange student. We have three or four exchange students come in here every year but not many leave here to represent Iowa on the global stage.
The Rotary Youth Exchange offers a tremendous opportunity to youth like Eva. She is very athletic; her first love being basketball. She also plays volleyball and enjoys many other sports. She has been active in Family Career Community Leaders of America for two years as well as Students Against Destructive Decisions. She has the biggest heart and wants to pursue a career in nursing so she can help others. One of the neatest things about her is that when she enters a room, she makes a point to speak to everyone in it and she seems to know instinctively who needs an extra pat on the back. We tease her that she really shouldn't be so shy.
With our nation's reputation being questioned, we need people like her to get out in the world and spread the truth about what it's like to be an American. She is an excellent example of what American youth represent: fairness, honesty, and optimism. Please help her realize this dream. She has become like a daughter to me and if I had the money, I'd give it to her myself. To put my money where my mouth is, I will throw in the first $100. Remember, every bit counts.
Like I said... $50 now... $50 after I see a month of posts on your site - or at the very least, some serious, humorous attempts at getting people to donate. heheheh.
