Pneumonia
My goal is to raise money to pay for my prescription and doctor bills from pneumonia.
I got let go from work recently and only have major medical insurance with no doctor visit copy and no prescription plan. I couldn't afford the Cobra at $350/month so I chose this plan. No I did not get severance, the company I worked for surprised us all by stating they don't give severance packages.
Unfortunately I developed bronchitis and then pneumonia right away. I have a $1,000 deductible on my insurance which means the doctor visits and prescriptions are out of my pocket. Money that I was counting on getting me and my grade school aged daughter through the month.
I have 3 doctor visits, xrays and 2 prescriptions to pay for so far. And I still have pneumonia! There will be a third visit this week.
The prescriptions were very expensive as I am allergice to penecillin and anything related to it. The prescriptions each time were $127!
