Maya and the Marshall Islands Kids
Maya is going to the Marshall Islands as a volunteer to teach for one year. She leaves for the main island Majuro on July 15 and has been assigned to teach on Bouj of the Ailinglaplap Atoll. The tiny school and students need your help! Though the situation is unknown, it is unlikely there will be even basic supplies. And even though there will be no electricity or running water, Maya has an associated blog, which will be updated through her letters home, which a friend will scan and post when the time comes.
