Save Al's Comics

Located in the Mission District, independent comic book operator Al Kizziah opened his shop in 1989. Al's Comics has been catering to a unique clientele ranging from local musicians, young adults, local artist, and long time collecters.

The shop is tiny and every square inch of space is covered with pulp goodness. There are comics on the walls, floor to ceiling, comics on the shelves, comics in boxes. There are comics Al won't shown you until you gain his trust.

Recently Al's Comics has run into a bit of financial trouble, it involves landlords, tax collectors, the city; the usual suspects. He could use some help.

He may lose his space, but he's trying to staying in the neigborhood, and the neighborhood would not be same without him.
