Attend Virtual Goods Conference
Nicholas Bentley is trying to raise funds to attend the Virtual Goods conference at Koblenz University, Germany, to present his technical paper Trading Rights to Digital Content.
Trading Rights has been accepted after peer review and presents a philosophy and system for regulating and trading copyrighted material in digital format. It updates copyright for the digital world and proposes a distributed rights trading environment rather that the traditional trade in copies to reward authors and creators. In the process it reduces the need restrictive access controls and ensures information is unfettered for educational and social purposes.
The conference runs for three days in October, 2007 and any monies raised will go toward travel, accommodation, and fees.
Thank you to all my supporters.
